Hugo Alexandersen took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Llorenc. Leon Llorenc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Gaizko in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Thompson saved Club Atlético de Newell from getting behind. Antapoca FC's Leon Llorenc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Antapoca FC from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes Antapoca FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Casey Harban who took care of the corner kick. In the 34th match minute, Club Atlético de Newell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Gilroy to maneuver through the defense. Leon Llorenc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Alexandersen in the 39th minute. Hugo Alexandersen kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 41stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Antapoca FC's keeper Leon Llorenc was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Club Atlético de Newell's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casey Harban in the 42nd minute. Club Atlético de Newell's Rupert Bear was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leon Llorenc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 45 minutes into the game, Celedonio Azeari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tommy Thompson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Olly Nethercot made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Club Atlético de Newell got a corner. Antapoca FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Casey Harban ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tommy Thompson made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bonifacio Petri sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Azeari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rupert Bear in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Llorenc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casey Harban kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Raul Gaizko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Thompson was a little too slow when Celedonio Azeari got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-4. Club Atlético de Newell's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casey Harban in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Raul Gaizko made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Thompson. Club Atlético de Newell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Tommy Thompson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tommy Thompson made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Bonifacio Petri sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Antapoca FC's Rafael Federigo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Antapoca FC's Leon Llorenc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olly Nethercot in the 96th minute of play.
