Iwan Wyrostek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Pacholewski in the 42nd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Szymon Rywin to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikolaj Jerzyk came out of the goal and Eugeniusz Nigbor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pankracy Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Iwan Wyrostek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes mt93 Tarnów got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Gleba. In the 64th minute of the match Donato Christobal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Wyrostek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Szymon Rywin managed to get in a good position for a shot. mt93 Tarnów's supporters rose to their feet, but Szymon Rywin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Jerzyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Norbert Bielejewski sent off a good shot on target. Newcastle United were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after mt93 Tarnów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Donato Christobal took the corner. Mikolaj Jerzyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszek Kapinos in the 78th minute. After 81 played minutes mt93 Tarnów got a freekick which was hit by Robert Panasewicz. 85 minutes into the match, mt93 Tarnów's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Malicki came free, but Iwan Wyrostek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of mt93 Tarnów booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Malicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Malicki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iwan Wyrostek having to make a save. A collision led to mt93 Tarnów getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Clodoveo Henry hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Newcastle United fans cheered their team off the field, for while mt93 Tarnów had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
