Ivan Vilhena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Gremio Viana got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Lustosa. When Domingos Lencastre came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gremio Viana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Lencastre couldn't finish the play. Ɍυƒυs™'s Máximo Azeredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 33rd minute of play. Moisés Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Vilhena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gremio Viana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ludvig Groth was slow to take the kick. During this time Ɍυƒυs™'s players had a chance to rest. Lúcio Vilaça's late challenge caught a Gremio Viana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Vilaça helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Lúcio Vilaça got a free kick in the 45th minute. Domingos Lencastre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Máximo Azeredo came out and tried to block the shot, but Domingos Lencastre slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Lencastre to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Domingos Lencastre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gremio Viana's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Lencastre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Azeredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Máximo Azeredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 苏景骋 in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Ɍυƒυs™'s goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Lencastre came free, but Máximo Azeredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
