Erwin Schrödinger kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 12th minute Archie Greenwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iason Plexioudas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Dimo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Archie Greenwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Iason Plexioudas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Baby Snakes's Archie Greenwood in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NeW York CitY CopS's goalie prevented a goal. After 22 played minutes NeW York CitY CopS got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Brudnicki. 28 minutes into the match, NeW York CitY CopS's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Schrödinger came free, but Iason Plexioudas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to NeW York CitY CopS getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ludomir Brudnicki hit a great ball. Iason Plexioudas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Schrödinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Archie Greenwood kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Ron Tomkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Quentin in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Baby Snakes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Quentin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gustavo Quentin made a precise shot to the right of Ron Tomkin. Baby Snakes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Enrique Dimo made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Higinio Arias. 57 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Javi Milei came free, but Ron Tomkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Greenwood in the 60th minute of play forced NeW York CitY CopS's goalkeeper Iason Plexioudas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iason Plexioudas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Figueiredo in the 64th minute of play. Ron Tomkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Rito in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Higinio Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Tomkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ron Tomkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javi Milei in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Javi Milei came free, but Ron Tomkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Rolando Frascuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NeW York CitY CopS and the Baby Snakes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iason Plexioudas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erwin Schrödinger in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Baby Snakes got a corner. NeW York CitY CopS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harvey Courtney ran over to the corner to take the kick. 90 minutes into the match, NeW York CitY CopS's goal looked a bit too open when Archie Greenwood came free, but Iason Plexioudas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Joel Tudor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iason Plexioudas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ziggy Stardorf hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Krasimir Balakov hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Baby Snakes's Ron Tomkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Quentin in the 96th minute of play. The Baby Snakes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Baby Snakes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
