Sevdalin Tropchev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th minute of the match, Paun Hadzhiev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evelio Txeru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Evelio Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuzman Leyarski in the 20th minute of the match. Evelio Txeru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klement Harasimowicz in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paun Hadzhiev in the 25th minute of play forced Capdevilla's goalkeeper Evelio Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Txeru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paun Hadzhiev went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Evelio Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paun Hadzhiev in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Paun Hadzhiev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MANCHESTER UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capdevilla the free kick. After 32 played minutes MANCHESTER UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Paun Hadzhiev. When Marco Anaya fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capdevilla's protests and gave Marco Anaya a yellow card for diving instead. Capdevilla's Evelio Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paun Hadzhiev in the 38th minute of play. Evelio Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuzman Leyarski in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kuzman Leyarski made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Capdevilla's goal looked a bit too open when Kuzman Leyarski came free, but Evelio Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Capdevilla's Sevdalin Tropchev threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carolo Christobal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Cirilo Costante put in a rough tackle. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Capdevilla! Marco Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sevdalin Tropchev having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Harasimowicz in the 66th minute of play forced Capdevilla's goalkeeper Evelio Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes of play, MANCHESTER UNITED's Paun Hadzhiev made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evelio Txeru was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Paun Hadzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MANCHESTER UNITED were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Capdevilla's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Puyol took the corner. The corner led MANCHESTER UNITED's Carlos Puyol to fire away a dangerous shot which Evelio Txeru despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Evelio Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuzman Leyarski in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Kuzman Leyarski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capdevilla's Evelio Txeru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Capdevilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jose Hartz in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Klement Harasimowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MANCHESTER UNITED walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
