Corvin Kasik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dabi Barba in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Carlos Loureiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corvin Kasik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ding Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uri Eckardt in the 9th minute of the match. Carlos Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Corvin Kasik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Loureiro in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corvin Kasik saved Hamburg Fighters from getting behind. In the 35th minute Carlos Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corvin Kasik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Andy Lackmann fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hamburg Fighters's protests and gave Andy Lackmann a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Andy Lackmann. In the 44th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Golden to maneuver through the defense. Dabi Barba charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dabi Barba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dabi Barba to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uri Eckardt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Hamburg Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Lackmann to maneuver through the defense. Tirant lo Blanch's Dabi Barba got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Dabi Barba off the ground. A collision led to Tirant lo Blanch getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dabi Barba hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Leon Ritter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Corvin Kasik made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Carlos Loureiro sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the game, Carlos Loureiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Corvin Kasik. Carlos Loureiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Tirant lo Blanch's Ding Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uri Eckardt in the 73rd minute of play. Hamburg Fighters's Kersten Baste was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ding Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corvin Kasik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Loureiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 92 minute of play. The Hamburg Fighters supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tirant lo Blanch's performance. The match ended with a win for Tirant lo Blanch.
