After 3 minutes, Flavio Primo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. S. D. Pueyrredón and the C.A.Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flavio Primo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Damian Otsoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauro Norino. The goal made the score 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Abastas came free, but Felipe Bizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Bizen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Abastas in the 14th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Rafael Odon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mauro Norino, passed just outside the right post. Jorge Bautista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Mauro Norino made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Baltasar Fero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Bizen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 36thth minute of the game Baltasar Fero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Independiente's Felipe Bizen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the C.A.Independiente defense, Arnulfo Abastas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Bizen. The C.A.Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Bizen should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Fero in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Bizen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnulfo Abastas to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Baltasar Fero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Felipe Bizen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipe Bizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Claude during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. C.A.Independiente made a substitution. Angelino Rayman replaced Jorge Bautista. Norberto Claude hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Enrique Venerando kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Baltasar Fero got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Bizen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Abastas in the 69th minute. When C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Arnulfo Abastas in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Baltasar Fero managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Fero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Bizen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Felipe Bizen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Abastas. If Eugenio Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Bizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Nayely in the 84th minute of play. Horacio Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in C. S. D. Pueyrredón's zone, Damian Otsoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Norino came out of the goal and Damian Otsoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
