The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Vie during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute of the match Isaac Grimaud shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christoffer Jørgensen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Arthur Facciol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Jørgensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Nikolai Testaferrata Olivier got a free kick in the 28th minute. Isaac Grimaud ran back to his position shaking his head. 52 minutes into the match, Arthur Facciol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christoffer Jørgensen, 0-2. 55 minutes into the game, Nikolai Testaferrata Olivier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sliema Dragons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åsnes the free kick. After 55 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolai Testaferrata Olivier. Christoffer Jørgensen was a little too slow when Leo Scalpello got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-3. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Neil Deguara got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Nikolai Testaferrata Olivier was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nikolai Testaferrata Olivier hit a great ball. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Reitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Isaac Grimaud shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christoffer Jørgensen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee showed Leo Sant Manduca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Sant Manduca to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Åsnes's Dan Ødegaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Decelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When Leon Desira fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sliema Dragons FC's protests and gave Leon Desira a yellow card for diving instead.
