Jens-Erik Cane charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Erik Cane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BV Borussia Hammarby's Jens-Erik Cane got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Christoffer Målare hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. BV Borussia Hammarby's Charles Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Alvarez in the 9th minute of play. Angelino Roman's late challenge caught a BV Borussia Hammarby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Roman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los once leones Ourense's Angelino Roman got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Jens-Erik Cane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aloisio Correa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aloisio Correa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Román Armada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Charles Fernström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, BV Borussia Hammarby's Bertil Beckström got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's goalkeeper Charles Fernström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Román Armada. In the 30th minute, Christoffer Målare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BV Borussia Hammarby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Los once leones Ourense's Aloisio Correa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Cane in the 34th minute of play. Román Armada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Charles Fernström made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's goalkeeper Charles Fernström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Román Armada. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Erik Cane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Charles Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloisio Correa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Scot Glad in the 53rd minute. If Belmiro Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Söderqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Los once leones Ourense's Ceandro Lozano tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Charles Fernström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fagondo Huarte went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the BV Borussia Hammarby defense, Román Armada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles Fernström. The BV Borussia Hammarby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles Fernström should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when Fagondo Huarte came free, but Charles Fernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Jens-Erik Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloisio Correa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BV Borussia Hammarby's Dan Söderqvist got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Román Armada in the 73rd minute of play forced BV Borussia Hammarby's goalkeeper Charles Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Erik Cane's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aloisio Correa firmly grabbed it by the left post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
