Bambang Bamba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Enrique Paiva got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th play minute Mikolaj Degutis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Samuel Varela. 3-0. 22 minutes into the match Bambang Bamba climbed in front of goal and pressed up 4-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Samuel Varela. After a rather tough play, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Cafu Paraibano got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Spurs To Glory booed when ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Jaktorowo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Samuel Varela was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Bambang Bamba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bambang Bamba really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. In the 43rd minute, Cafu Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Samuel Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Degutis in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS! In the 58th match minute, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes of play, Spurs To Glory's Bambang Bamba made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Spurs To Glory's Bogumil Misiorowski was substituted for Zachariasz Kaczucha. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bambang Bamba in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's zone, Mikolaj Degutis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Varela came out of the goal and Mikolaj Degutis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS defense, Mikolaj Degutis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Varela. The ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Varela should have stopped the shot. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Nelsinho Sarmento suffered a fractured collar bone after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Bogumil Misiorowski fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spurs To Glory's protests and gave Bogumil Misiorowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Spurs To Glory got a freekick which was hit by Bogumil Misiorowski. Samuel Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bambang Bamba's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Bambang Bamba might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bambang Bamba ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute Bambang Bamba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Cafu Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Degutis in the 90th minute of play. Spurs To Glory's Mikolaj Degutis got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bambang Bamba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Varela was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The throw-in from Cafu Paraibano in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Spurs To Glory's Witold Ruszkowski. In the 99th minute, Bambang Bamba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Spurs To Glory had played much better football throughout.
