Sacro Balompié's Florencio Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Sjöö in the 8th minute of play. Gottfrid Heggert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Sesuldo having to interfere. Martin Hedberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Daniel Askestät hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Gogo Felo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Hedberg skillfully saved the ball. After 40 minutes, Bernardo Bixintxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sacro Balompié and the SSC Ambrosini players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Bixintxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, SSC Ambrosini's Gottfrid Heggert got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Florencio Sesuldo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

53 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Rodriguez came free, but Martin Hedberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sacro Balompié getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Leonardo Mel hit a great ball. Olof Ersman's late challenge caught a Sacro Balompié's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Rodriguez in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Hedberg saved SSC Ambrosini from getting behind. Sacro Balompié were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after SSC Ambrosini's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gogo Felo took the corner. Gogo Felo made a great header on Sacro Balompié's corner, it was just that SSC Ambrosini's Martin Hedberg managed to reach the ball for a save. 69 minutes into the match, Nemesio Rodriguez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Hedberg, 1-1. Desiderio Cordarryl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Martin Hedberg made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's Genaro Leguizamón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Hedberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Genaro Leguizamón had several of the SSC Ambrosini's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Martin Hedberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. 88 minutes into the match, Gogo Felo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of SSC Ambrosini's Martin Hedberg. Martin Hedberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Gottfrid Heggert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes of play Sacro Balompié's Bernardo Bixintxo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bernardo Bixintxo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Ersman in the 95th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Florencio Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see SSC Ambrosini lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
