Sven-Oskar Andreasson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 25 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Sílvio de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Oskar Andreasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 29 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Andreasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Eger. Sven-Oskar Andreasson was a little too slow when Marco Eger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-1. After some careless play in the AIK FOTBOLL defense, Sílvio de Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Oskar Andreasson. The AIK FOTBOLL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Oskar Andreasson should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Torres to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 58th play minute Josef Ålberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Robinho Cerezo. 4-2. In the 62nd match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Kaxe to maneuver through the defense. If Carlos Fernando Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to AIK FOTBOLL getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gabriel Kellman hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Remo Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Sven-Oskar Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Carlos Fernando Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Oskar Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio de Lima in the 71st minute of play. Reynaldo Torres scored 6-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Oskar Andreasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AIK FOTBOLL's Sven-Oskar Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Salles in the 75th minute of play. Marcus Lindström kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Örjan Kaxe charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Örjan Kaxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robinho Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Lindström in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Evaristo Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
