After a rather tough play, Cadu Team's Agostinho Fantini got a free kick in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Lingren got free with Dinei Salgado in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the game, João Augusto Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cadu Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Band Of Brothers the free kick. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. João Augusto Melo hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Ulf Lingren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Band Of Brothers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho Motta during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fabinho Motta hit a great ball. Anton Arenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Dinei Salgado made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Freddy Falcon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cadu Team booed when Band Of Brothers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cadu Team's Mathias Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Cadu Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Motta to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Band Of Brothers got a freekick which was hit by Roy Gunnarsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Anton Arenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Band Of Brothers's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Arenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Åke Julin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. João Augusto Melo hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulf Lingren to make the kick off. Cadu Team's Dinei Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Lingren in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Anton Arenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Cadu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Arenius came free, but Dinei Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Aníbal Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Per-Åke Julin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Julin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Band Of Brothers were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Cadu Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigge Stones took the corner. Band Of Brothers's Ulf Lingren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dinei Salgado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 71st match minute, Cadu Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto Melo to maneuver through the defense. Ola Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Duarte. 80 minutes into the match, Cadu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Arenius came free, but Dinei Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Anton Arenius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dinei Salgado. Cadu Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Arenius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 88 played minutes Band Of Brothers got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Hellkvist. Cadu Team's Flavinho Camargo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sverker Gernberg, made in the 91st minute of the game. Mathias Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
