Adelino Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Alptuğ Hepyener made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Rakı Sevenler FC's goalkeeper Alptuğ Hepyener had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Pires. After 22 minutes, Eusébio Bernardes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gremio Viana and the Rakı Sevenler FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Eusébio Bernardes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dércio Calado hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Alptuğ Hepyener tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Adelino Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alptuğ Hepyener. Rakı Sevenler FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adelino Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rakı Sevenler FC's Alptuğ Hepyener proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Rakı Sevenler FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çelikan Safi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alptuğ Hepyener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Pires in the 51st minute of play. Adolfo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alptuğ Hepyener having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Adelino Lopes made a precise shot to the right of Alptuğ Hepyener. Rakı Sevenler FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 62 minutes into the match, Adelino Lopes notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rakı Sevenler FC's Alptuğ Hepyener. Alptuğ Hepyener was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 70 minutes of play, Gremio Viana's Eusébio Bernardes made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alptuğ Hepyener was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute Adolfo Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alptuğ Hepyener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Adolfo Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Alptuğ Hepyener was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 78 minutes of play, Gremio Viana's Adelino Lopes made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alptuğ Hepyener was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Adelino Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rakı Sevenler FC's Alptuğ Hepyener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aparício Taborda in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Gremio Viana's Adelino Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alptuğ Hepyener made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Alptuğ Hepyener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Adelino Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alptuğ Hepyener. Rakı Sevenler FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adelino Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. Gremio Viana's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
