Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dinu Suluțiu kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Nesho Kozovski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GATE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th match minute, GATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vihar Chachev to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Nesho Kozovski made a precise shot to the right of Ştefan Ifrim. Rapid Bucharest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 23rd minute Vihar Chachev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Ifrim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Gyumishev kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Flavius Cernat kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Vihar Chachev put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ştefan Ifrim. Nesho Kozovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ştefan Ifrim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ştefan Ifrim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Gyumishev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ştefan Ifrim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomir Kertev went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Ştefan Ifrim came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by GATE's Angel Gyumishev. But to his dismay, Angel Gyumishev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.

Vihar Chachev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ştefan Ifrim made a huge save. Ştefan Ifrim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Gyumishev in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Dimo Paraskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the game, Dinu Suluțiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Stoyne Belyovski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Rapid Bucharest's goal looked a bit too open when Nesho Kozovski came free, but Ştefan Ifrim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GATE made a substitution. Yanaki Gaydov replaced Radomir Kertev. With a little luck, Rapid Bucharest's Ştefan Ifrim got control of the ball when Nesho Kozovski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match, Vihar Chachev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ştefan Ifrim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A hard shot 83 in the game by Nesho Kozovski from a close distance when the talented Ştefan Ifrim managed to make a qualified save. Rapid Bucharest's players were relieved. 85 minutes into the match, Rapid Bucharest's goalkeeper Ştefan Ifrim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yanaki Gaydov. The GATE fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when GATE's Nesho Kozovski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Rapid Bucharest booed when GATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzolo Fetvadzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in GATE's zone, Dinu Suluțiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stoyne Belyovski came out of the goal and Dinu Suluțiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yanaki Gaydov took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ştefan Ifrim. Ştefan Ifrim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. GATE played a much better game than Rapid Bucharest and deserved their victory. The Rapid Bucharest players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
