The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jens-Ola Askstedt's late challenge caught a Hyblae FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ola Askstedt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hyblae FC booed when Änglarna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Askstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ola Askstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Augusto Cerri came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hyblae FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Cerri couldn't finish the play. Edgar Lindblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Topatigh, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Änglarna FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ettore Topatigh 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Bertil Näfver struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Dennis Ciarrocchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Änglarna FF. In the 28th minute, Morgan Vallengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hyblae FC's Ettore Topatigh in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Änglarna FF's goalie prevented a goal. Änglarna FF's Edgar Lindblom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cerri in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Topatigh in the 36th minute of play forced Änglarna FF's goalkeeper Edgar Lindblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Augusto Cerri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyblae FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Cerri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Morgan Vallengren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Änglarna FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hyblae FC the free kick. Morgan Vallengren hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Änglarna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Rosetta came free, but Edgar Lindblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Ettore Topatigh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Lindblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bertil Näfver made a kick off. Ettore Topatigh scored 4-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Lindblom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Lindblom came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Hyblae FC's Fulvio Rosetta. But to his dismay, Fulvio Rosetta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Änglarna FF's zone, Ettore Topatigh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Lindblom came out of the goal and Ettore Topatigh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the game, Alex Cicchinelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hyblae FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Änglarna FF the free kick. A collision led to Hyblae FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alex Cicchinelli hit a great ball. Edgar Lindblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Rosetta, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's Ettore Topatigh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Lindblom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hyblae FC's Ettore Topatigh got a free kick in the 70th minute. Edgar Lindblom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Cerri went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Änglarna FF's Edgar Lindblom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Rosetta in the 76th minute of play. Edgar Lindblom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Cerri in the 77th minute of the match. Edgar Lindblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Topatigh in the 87th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play Änglarna FF's Morgan Vallengren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes into the match, Änglarna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Topatigh came free, but Edgar Lindblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hyblae FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
