The audience was convinced that Markos Kokotoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimi Nyrhinen was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. When Markos Kokotoulis fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RO Army V55's protests and gave Markos Kokotoulis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Markos Kokotoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Markos Kokotoulis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimi Nyrhinen. Palloketut's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markos Kokotoulis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Markos Kokotoulis came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jimi Nyrhinen could save by the left post. Markos Kokotoulis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Jimi Nyrhinen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Markos Kokotoulis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jimi Nyrhinen. The goal made the score 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Markos Kokotoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. RO Army V55's supporters rose to their feet, but Markos Kokotoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimi Nyrhinen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match Markos Kokotoulis climbed in front of goal and pressed up 3-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Jimi Nyrhinen. 32 minutes into the game, Palloketut's Rami Lehto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thodoris Tabakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A hard shot 35 in the game by Markos Kokotoulis from a close distance when the talented Jimi Nyrhinen managed to make a qualified save. Palloketut's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markos Kokotoulis in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimi Nyrhinen saved Palloketut from getting behind. Markos Kokotoulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jimi Nyrhinen made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rami Lehto to strike the kick off in the second half. Jimi Nyrhinen came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by RO Army V55's Markos Kokotoulis. But to his dismay, Markos Kokotoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 56th minute, Markos Kokotoulis made a precise shot to the right of Jimi Nyrhinen. Palloketut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Marin Duna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimi Nyrhinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markos Kokotoulis in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Marin Duna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RO Army V55 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rami Lehto got free with Thodoris Tabakis in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Markos Kokotoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimi Nyrhinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Markos Kokotoulis put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jimi Nyrhinen. After 83 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Iisakki Niinimaa. The audience was convinced that Markos Kokotoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimi Nyrhinen was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. RO Army V55 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
