The goalkeeper, Victor Bittor, was totally fooled by Esquadrão do Guarana DMZ's Eugênio Travassos, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Victor Bittor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Alves in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Claudio Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
