In the 40th minute of the match, Fondas Psomas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ludomir Gniech was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After the first half Borowa Rzeszów were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 59 minutes, Fondas Psomas made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Borowa Rzeszów's Ludomir Gniech tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute of the match, Kajetan Cwojdak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vrasidas Pelidis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fondas Psomas in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomir Gniech saved Borowa Rzeszów from getting behind. Kajetan Cwojdak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Vrasidas Pelidis when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
