In the 3rd match minute, Cobresal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Gandarillas to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Cobresal got a freekick which was hit by Xamín Fedeghelli. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Gandarillas during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Renato Gandarillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alcadio Alderete made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Zemario Pi sent off a good shot on target. Renato Gandarillas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Valines came free, but Alcadio Alderete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Valines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cobresal defense, Zemario Pi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alcadio Alderete. The Cobresal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alcadio Alderete should have stopped the shot. Zavier Prenafeta hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Taibo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Zemario Pi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Alcadio Alderete made a huge save. In the 46th play minute Zemario Pi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alcadio Alderete. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zemario Pi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alcadio Alderete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zemario Pi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Zemario Pi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cobresal's Alcadio Alderete. Alcadio Alderete was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the match, Bernardino Burgueño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alcadio Alderete. Cobresal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Burgueño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Cobresal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xamín Fedeghelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alcadio Alderete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zemario Pi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Zemario Pi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alcadio Alderete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cobresal's zone, Rik Lagunas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alcadio Alderete came out of the goal and Rik Lagunas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rik Lagunas fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FERRABARCA FC's protests and gave Rik Lagunas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Rik Lagunas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rik Lagunas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Urquiza kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Bernardino Burgueño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alcadio Alderete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Valines came free, but Alcadio Alderete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cobresal's Alcadio Alderete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zemario Pi in the 93rd minute of play. Alcadio Alderete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zemario Pi in the 97th minute of the match.
