Fervent Stalkers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dorival de Carvalho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Cactos's Dorival de Carvalho to fire away a dangerous shot which Martin Abadia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Anacleto Rozarius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bran Allison. Cactos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Rozarius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 40 played minutes Fervent Stalkers got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Rudolfo. In the 41st minute of the match, Dorival de Carvalho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Abadia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fervent Stalkers's Martin Abadia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Fervent Stalkers from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Luisinho Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Cordarell hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Fervent Stalkers's Martin Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Maciel in the 48th minute of play.

The Cactos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 96 minutes into the match, Cengizhan Baycan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Abadia. Fervent Stalkers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cengizhan Baycan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Cactos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
