Remus Basarab made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alex Spânu immediately put the ball in play. Tadeu Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

In the 51st match minute, FC Alinborger Galați was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Moga to maneuver through the defense.
