MS Rybnik's José Augusto Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Saura got free with Izydor Wolnik in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Tirant lo Blanch defense, José Augusto Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Oskar Svensson. The Tirant lo Blanch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Oskar Svensson should have stopped the shot. Izydor Wolnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Saura in the 16th minute of the match. Izydor Wolnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Saura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MS Rybnik getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cyprian Orling hit a great ball. Izydor Wolnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizka Mendieta in the 20th minute of play. José Augusto Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Oskar Svensson having to interfere. García Diez kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when MS Rybnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Kolbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastián Reina charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastián Reina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MS Rybnik made a substitution. Jacek Skorny replaced Xu Yin. After 41 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Reina. 45 minutes into the match, MS Rybnik's goalkeeper Izydor Wolnik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Saura. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Enrique Saura made the kick off in the second half. MS Rybnik's Izydor Wolnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Saura in the 51st minute of play. Per-Oskar Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Rosa in the 53rd minute of the match. Per-Oskar Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Rosa in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, José Augusto Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tirant lo Blanch's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaizka Mendieta in the 63rd minute. Tirant lo Blanch's Pitin Vallejo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Izydor Wolnik in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, MS Rybnik's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Cazacu came free, but Izydor Wolnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tirant lo Blanch made a substitution. Manolito Puyol replaced Gaizka Mendieta. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by MS Rybnik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. García Diez was slow to take the kick. During this time Tirant lo Blanch's players had a chance to rest. Lúcio Cerezo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Lúcio Cerezo fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Izydor Wolnik. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Cazacu in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Izydor Wolnik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, Manolito Puyol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Izydor Wolnik. MS Rybnik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manolito Puyol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 89 minutes in the game Sebastián Reina did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bernardo España. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cazacu in the 93rd minute of play forced MS Rybnik's goalkeeper Izydor Wolnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Manolito Puyol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tirant lo Blanch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Tirant lo Blanch's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
