The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Sport Club Cevada's José Lima made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Iratzeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 6th match minute, Barsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antim Drashanski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Munhoz in the 6th minute of play forced Barsa FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apostolis Porros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antim Drashanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apostolis Porros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antim Drashanski in the 12th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Barsa FC's Apostolis Porros threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Norberto Estevon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 13 minutes of play, Sport Club Cevada's Okanalp Tuncel made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Cresitobalo in the 43rd minute of play forced Sport Club Cevada's goalkeeper Apostolis Porros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sport Club Cevada booed when Barsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gennaro Gattuso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Iratzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Munhoz couldn't finish the play. After the first half Sport Club Cevada were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Estevon made a kick off. Apostolis Porros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antim Drashanski, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 79th minute, Serafin Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Pudes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Apostolis Porros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apostolis Porros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Pudes in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Sport Club Cevada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barsa FC.
