In the 10th minute of the match, Carlos Figueiredo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lan Šorli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duško Turnšek in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Santana saved Sporting Tuga FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Carlos Figueiredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lan Šorli was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the game, Carlos Figueiredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lan Šorli. Severiano Curado hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Sporting Tuga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Istok Šabotić came free, but Alfredo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Duško Turnšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić got a free kick in the 27th minute. Carlos Figueiredo came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lan Šorli could save by the left post. Duško Turnšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Rangel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lan Šorli came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Rangel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. HIT Gorica's Lan Šorli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Figueiredo in the 37th minute of play. Manuel Furtado, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duško Turnšek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lan Šorli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Figueiredo in the 53rd minute of the match. Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Monsanto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Lan Šorli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Figueiredo in the 80th minute of the match.
