Bengt-Arne Åberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Tom Røise made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, İskender Baki Sabi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Gonzalez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. İskender Baki Sabi took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Gonzalez. Generoso Gonzalez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Generoso Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İskender Baki Sabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İskender Baki Sabi in the 30th minute of play. Tom Røise didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karel Kacharov went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Generoso Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İskender Baki Sabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Alexander Eltvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İskender Baki Sabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Gonzalez having to interfere. The Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Åsnes were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Al Wieczorek to make the kick off. With a little luck, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Generoso Gonzalez got control of the ball when Al Wieczorek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th play minute Pejman Zahedi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Generoso Gonzalez. 1-4. Al Wieczorek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Generoso Gonzalez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Leon Trotskiy was substituted for Iker Eneko. With a little luck, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Generoso Gonzalez got control of the ball when Al Wieczorek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexander Eltvik made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Wilfredo Bieito. Al Wieczorek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kálmán Pádár was slow to take the kick. During this time Åsnes's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Åsnes's corner Kálmán Pádár fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Generoso Gonzalez quite easily take care of the ball.
