The audience was convinced that Sten Andrejević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tao Cheng Zhi was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in El ultimo's zone, Sten Andrejević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tao Cheng Zhi came out of the goal and Sten Andrejević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Pisculescu came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Pisculescu in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to ROSÁRIO SPORT getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bruno Félix hit a great ball. Luiz Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Nisio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Pisculescu got free with Luiz Corrêa in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Vasile Pisculescu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Andrejević in the 38th minute of play forced El ultimo's goalkeeper Tao Cheng Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Vasile Pisculescu sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the ROSÁRIO SPORT defense, Luis Bemabe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Corrêa. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Corrêa should have stopped the shot. Nildo da Silveira replaced Sigvard Rosendal. Luiz Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ke Xiang in the 92nd minute of play. Tao Cheng Zhi made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Sten Andrejević sent off a good shot on target. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
