Markus Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Tomaszewski in the 19th minute of the match. If Håkan Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ritchie Stansfield made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Patrik Skarkman sent off a good shot on target. Markus Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Cucao in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Brothers of Mercy's Håkan Lindgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ritchie Stansfield. Ritchie Stansfield yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 33rd minute, Håkan Lindgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brothers of Mercy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Håkan Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Ritchie Stansfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 37th minute of play. Markus Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. A collision led to Real Ayuntamiento CF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zacarias Fero hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 47th minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Ritchie Stansfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blažej Blazejowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Real Ayuntamiento CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. 90 minutes into the game, Christer Valler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Ritchie Stansfield was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Markus Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Szpakowski in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Ayuntamiento CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brothers of Mercy.
