In the 20th minute Anselmo Doris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert Major in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Hendrickx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Major in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Hendrickx saved Twierdza Osowiec from getting behind. Norbert Major might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Hendrickx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norbert Major ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Hendrickx made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Norbert Major sent off a good shot on target. If Norbert Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Hendrickx made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Norbert Major sent off a good shot on target. Billy Hendrickx made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pogoń Szczecin's Cezary Jarocewicz. Stefanos Stefanopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Hendrickx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Norbert Major could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ricardo Hendrickx made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
