Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) After 4 minutes, Jörgen Valrot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bergandy and the Mestre GG players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bergandy getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jörgen Valrot hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Di Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remigiusz Paciuszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorginho Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Franco Di Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando das Neves came free, but Remigiusz Paciuszko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Di Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Boguslaw Makarewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Di Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Granberg in the 23rd minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Makarewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Di Massa. Bergandy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boguslaw Makarewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Valter Levander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Franco Di Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Bergandy's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Makarewicz came free, but Franco Di Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mestre GG's Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bergandy's goalie prevented a goal. Franco Di Massa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Valter Levander sent off a good shot on target. After 32 minutes, Boguslaw Makarewicz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bergandy's Franco Di Massa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Boguslaw Makarewicz took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Di Massa. Franco Di Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 38th minute, Mestre GG's Boguslaw Makarewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Franco Di Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play, Bergandy's Sven Granberg made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigiusz Paciuszko was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Boguslaw Makarewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Álvaro Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Di Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boguslaw Makarewicz made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Makarewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Di Massa was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After having played for 52 minutes, Boguslaw Makarewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mestre GG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boguslaw Makarewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franco Di Massa came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mestre GG's Valter Levander. But to his dismay, Valter Levander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 59th minute of the match Gino Ribeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Di Massa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's Boguslaw Makarewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Di Massa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mestre GG made a substitution. Benson Beverley replaced Valter Levander. The corner ended in Boguslaw Makarewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bergandy's Franco Di Massa did a great save. Franco Di Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Bergandy's Ingvar Molander was substituted for Fernando das Neves. After a rather tough play, Bergandy's Per Dahlberg got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Mestre GG's Álvaro Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Boguslaw Makarewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Di Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boguslaw Makarewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Di Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Boguslaw Makarewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergandy's Franco Di Massa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8-1 became the score in the 78th minute when Boguslaw Makarewicz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Franco Di Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benson Beverley, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Petter Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes, Mestre GG's Álvaro Paraíba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franco Di Massa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mestre GG reached it. If Benson Beverley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Di Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boguslaw Makarewicz's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When Benson Beverley, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Franco Di Massa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Franco Di Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boguslaw Makarewicz's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Boguslaw Makarewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mestre GG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergandy the free kick. When the referee ended the match the Mestre GG players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
