Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vito Furlan got the match started through his kick off. After 7 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Vito Furlan. In the 8th match minute, New York Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Macamete to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Encescu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Tadeu do Nascimento got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Tadeu do Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Radu Jilăveanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. New York Red Bulls's Radu Jilăveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu do Nascimento in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Vito Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Jilăveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Nazım Taci notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pragmáticos 1903's Zé Carlos Britto. Zé Carlos Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu do Nascimento in the 35th minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Radu Jilăveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Carlos Britto came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by New York Red Bulls's Nazım Taci. But to his dismay, Nazım Taci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With 48 minutes on the clock, Piers Amos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 47 minutes into the game, one of New York Red Bulls:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Radu Jilăveanu, was totally fooled by Pragmáticos 1903's Luiz Eduardo Alves, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cazimir Tufescu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Furlan in the 55th minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Radu Jilăveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panait Cismarescu during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to New York Red Bulls getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Panait Cismarescu hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Severo came free, but Radu Jilăveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the New York Red Bulls defense, Vito Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radu Jilăveanu. The New York Red Bulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radu Jilăveanu should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Furlan came free, but Radu Jilăveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radu Jilăveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Furlan in the 78th minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Radu Jilăveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to New York Red Bulls getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Emanuel Encescu hit a great ball. Vito Furlan scored 3-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radu Jilăveanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Nazım Taci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New York Red Bulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pragmáticos 1903 the free kick. In the 91st minute, Nazım Taci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radu Jilăveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
