In the 3rd minute Ladislao Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Ladislao Gines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Creekers fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Creekers's Ladislao Gines looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Henning Ekström hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Riley Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Ancelotti struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bryant Miles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Étoile Sportive Du Sahel. Creekers's Ladislao Gines got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Soned showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlo Ancelotti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bryant Miles. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gines in the 33rd minute of play forced Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalkeeper Eric Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Creekers's Ladislao Gines sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Soned narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eric Soned didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Gines went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Creekers were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Carlo Ancelotti made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Carlo Ancelotti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryant Miles. Creekers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlo Ancelotti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riley Trotter in the 63rd minute of play forced Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalkeeper Eric Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Creekers's Bryant Miles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Ancelotti in the 68th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Carlo Ancelotti made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryant Miles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Radu Fetea quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Uku Karju, made in the 79th minute of the game. Bryant Miles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Ancelotti's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Vallman to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Carlo Ancelotti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Bryant Miles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eric Soned made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Xavier Salazar sent off a good shot on target. Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Trotter in the 91st minute of the match.
