Los once leones Ourense's Gonzalo Fonticoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Pivniceru in the 6th minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazaro Armada, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Giorgio Jubera charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giorgio Jubera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Giorgio Jubera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Los once leones Ourense's zone, Traian Pivniceru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Fonticoba came out of the goal and Traian Pivniceru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matei Onaca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonzalo Fonticoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Stiinta-Univ.'s Bogdan Lobonț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. Lazaro Armada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Bogdan Lobonț made a huge save. Fagondo Huarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Bogdan Lobonț made a huge save. Los once leones Ourense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Indalecio Segura in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on Los once leones Ourense's corner Indalecio Segura fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bogdan Lobonț quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stiinta-Univ.'s zone, Lazaro Armada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Lobonț came out of the goal and Lazaro Armada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indalecio Segura in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lazaro Armada came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los once leones Ourense booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Băieșu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Lemnaru came free, but Gonzalo Fonticoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Fonticoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Onaca in the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Traian Pivniceru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Pivniceru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Matei Onaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Fonticoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Matei Onaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The audience was convinced that Matei Onaca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Fonticoba was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The supporters of Los once leones Ourense booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indalecio Segura in the 71st minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Lemnaru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gonzalo Fonticoba firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 73rd minute, Indalecio Segura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes Los once leones Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Fagondo Huarte. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indalecio Segura in the 79th minute of the match. Fagondo Huarte's late challenge caught a Stiinta-Univ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fagondo Huarte helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Los once leones Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Fagondo Huarte. Giorgio Jubera got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Los once leones Ourense getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Giorgio Jubera hit a great ball. The Stiinta-Univ. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Los once leones Ourense from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
