Hankins got a free kick in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Shane Smiley came free, but Froilan Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Moises Calvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almeyra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Miami Futbol Club the free kick. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Shane Smiley could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Froilan Llorian however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keenan Worthington in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Llorian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Shane Smiley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froilan Llorian. Almeyra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shane Smiley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Shane Smiley in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Froilan Llorian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Froilan Llorian was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Keenan Worthington showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Almeyra F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Almeyra F.C.'s zone, Keenan Worthington stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Llorian came out of the goal and Keenan Worthington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froilan Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keenan Worthington in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Ian Chapui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes, Keenan Worthington made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Keenan Worthington 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. In the 41stth minute of the game Keenan Worthington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Keenan Worthington struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Froilan Llorian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Miami Futbol Club. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Abecia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chu Zheng Yu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Soldado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Froilan Llorian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Soldado came free, but Froilan Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Roberto Soldado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Llorian was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Soldado in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Llorian saved Almeyra F.C. from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Llorian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
