Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mircea Pușcariu made the kick off and thus started the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s Avram Seremet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Pușcariu in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 4 minutes, Mircea Pușcariu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mircea Pușcariu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugen Spoială took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Lupescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Cojocaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Seremet having to interfere. Avram Seremet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Encuțu in the 11th minute of play. Stiinta-Univ.'s Avram Seremet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. If Stelian Blidaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute of the match Traian Pivniceru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugen Spoială skillfully saved the ball. Avram Seremet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Pușcariu in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Felix Pană shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Spoială saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Stiinta-Univ.'s Avram Seremet got control of the ball when Doru Opincaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gavril Bîndean charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavril Bîndean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Bîndean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matei Onaca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eugen Spoială tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stiinta-Univ.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Mircea Pușcariu scored to the left of an out of position Avram Seremet, making the score, 1-0. Gheorghe Tatomir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Avram Seremet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Seremet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doru Opincaru in the 45th minute. Ovidiu Encuțu scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avram Seremet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matei Onaca was the one to do the kick off. Mihai Niță hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 51st minute of the match Constantin Pintilescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Avram Seremet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Constantin Pintilescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Maci -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stiinta-Univ. the free kick. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Pintilescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stelian Blidaru's late challenge caught a FC Maci -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stelian Blidaru helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Stelian Blidaru got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Victor Cojocaru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Avram Seremet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Doru Opincaru hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Avram Seremet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Pușcariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stelian Blidaru kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. FC Maci -MM-'s Eugen Spoială proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FC Maci -MM- from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Băieșu lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Stiinta-Univ.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Maci -MM-:s goal. Avram Seremet came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Maci -MM-'s Constantin Pintilescu. But to his dismay, Constantin Pintilescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 76th minute, Gheorghe Tatomir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matei Onaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Traian Pivniceru kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Gheorghe Tatomir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doru Opincaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Encuțu came free, but Avram Seremet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Doru Opincaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Seremet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Encuțu came free, but Avram Seremet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
