In the 21st minute Amir Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Santana came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 42nd minute of play. Cayetano Sagrario hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Consejo del Mate's Honorato Zambujal was substituted for Cayetano Sagrario. If Claude Joyner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Wilhelm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

The wind increased when Claude Joyner made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Joyner, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jamar Orlinsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Consejo del Mate players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cascade Park West from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
