A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Richard Zedník hit a great ball. Tomáš Požgaj in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kaan Winter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomáš Požgaj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Kaan Winter made a huge save. Tomáš Požgaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaan Winter having to interfere. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhold Artmaier in the 28th minute of play. Štefan Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Josefsson in the 29th minute of play. Štefan Semeno came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by STORM CORNER F.C.'s Stellan Josefsson. But to his dismay, Stellan Josefsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomáš Požgaj got free with Kaan Winter in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Štefan Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Lisztes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to STORM CORNER F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Zoltán Vásárhelyi hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell György Szekeres to make the kick off. AFK Petržalka's Balázs Borbély quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stellan Josefsson, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Štefan Semeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reinhold Artmaier's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Kaan Winter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Požgaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ionuț Jităreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Štefan Semeno made a huge save. Kaan Winter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomáš Požgaj in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers György Szekeres in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Štefan Semeno saved AFK Petržalka from getting behind. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ionuț Jităreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Štefan Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhold Artmaier, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. STORM CORNER F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionuț Jităreanu in the 80th minute. STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ionuț Jităreanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Štefan Semeno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kaan Winter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomáš Požgaj's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Štefan Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Jităreanu in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Krisztián Lisztes got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ede Szász hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Michal Hudák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaan Winter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, STORM CORNER F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
