With a left leg Jens-Ola Strömbom saved Golden Lions FC from getting behind. In the 6th match minute, Espigão Steamrollers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Pombal to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Villiam Olofsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Villiam Olofsson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jens-Ola Strömbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuri Paranaense's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Edu Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Espigão Steamrollers's Dênis Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Espigão Steamrollers from getting a goal against them. Nalie Brzęczyszczykiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dênis Paulista made a huge save. Alfred Mossberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Mossberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jens-Ola Strömbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ángel Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durvalino Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Strömbom having to interfere. Nalie Brzęczyszczykiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Dênis Paulista made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuri Paranaense made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Melberg to maneuver through the defense. Ángel Romero took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Ola Strömbom. Jens-Ola Strömbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 61st minute, Naldo Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dênis Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villiam Olofsson in the 62nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Naldo Peres in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Golden Lions FC's Simon Kvarnström. Ángel Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jens-Ola Strömbom came out and tried to block the shot, but Ángel Romero slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 73rd minute. When Edu Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espigão Steamrollers's protests and gave Edu Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. Edu Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Villiam Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Christopher Melberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Pedro Duarte got a free kick in the 81st minute. Dênis Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Olofsson in the 82nd minute of play. The throw-in from Naldo Peres in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Golden Lions FC's Håkan Hamberg. Jens-Ola Strömbom made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ángel Romero sent off a good shot on target. Dênis Paulista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nalie Brzęczyszczykiewicz's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Ángel Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ángel Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Ángel Romero got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Espigão Steamrollers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Golden Lions FC.
