Duarte de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jovan Stanojević in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Chicão Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Žika Tesla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte de Barros made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Srđan Sedlarević sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goalkeeper Duarte de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Srđan Sedlarević. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chicão Corrêa to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jovan Stanojević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Quintal took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Žika Tesla. When Bratoljub Zelenović fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Фк РАДНИК Колонија's protests and gave Bratoljub Zelenović a yellow card for diving instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Minotauro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
