Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pierre Rivas kicked off to start the match. Spencer Stern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polat Aranda in the 5th minute of play. Elvis Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Loi having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Elvis Waller came free, but Ildefonso Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Polat Aranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Polat Aranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spencer Stern breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ildefonso Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Rivas in the 30th minute of play. Alvaro Cordarius hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Amerigo Molinari made a great header on La Scaloneta's corner, it was just that River tu grato nombre's Spencer Stern managed to reach the ball for a save. Elvis Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Loi having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mario Mandzukic made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Pancho. In the 74th minute of the match Elvis Waller shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ildefonso Loi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Mario Mandzukic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ildefonso Loi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amerigo Molinari hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Nicolás Blandi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Spencer Stern. The goal made the score 0-2. Spencer Stern made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Nicolás Blandi sent off a good shot on target. La Scaloneta were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over River tu grato nombre's much stronger midfield.
