Vrasidas Liouras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Steffe De Prins made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jan Huybrechts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Huybrechts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giorgos Kazatzidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steffe De Prins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraklis Moustakas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giorgos Kazatzidis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Wannes Tielemans shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. If Wannes Tielemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Toutourouki f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vrasidas Liouras to maneuver through the defense. Steffe De Prins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Tsirimonakis in the 25th minute of play. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Lukas Coekelbergh got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 minutes Royal Antwerp F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Panos Zablakos who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Toutourouki f.c.'s corner Panos Zablakos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Steffe De Prins quite easily take care of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Lukas Coekelbergh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toutourouki f.c. the free kick. A collision led to Royal Antwerp F.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lukas Coekelbergh hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, one of Royal Antwerp F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Iraklis Moustakas took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steffe De Prins. Steffe De Prins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Steffe De Prins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vrasidas Liouras in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Toutourouki f.c.'s zone, Lukas Coekelbergh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Kazatzidis came out of the goal and Lukas Coekelbergh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Giorgos Kazatzidis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lukas Coekelbergh showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 57 minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Royal Antwerp F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wannes Tielemans to maneuver through the defense. Jan Huybrechts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Giorgos Kazatzidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iraklis Moustakas in the 68th minute of play forced Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goalkeeper Steffe De Prins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Iraklis Moustakas made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Steffe De Prins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lukas Coekelbergh was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 74 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jan Huybrechts came free, but Giorgos Kazatzidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Jan Huybrechts put it in 3-5 from a short distance just to the right of Giorgos Kazatzidis. Iraklis Moustakas kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Lukas Coekelbergh came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Royal Antwerp F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukas Coekelbergh couldn't finish the play. Giorgos Kazatzidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Coekelbergh, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Jan Huybrechts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-7. The Toutourouki f.c. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Royal Antwerp F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
