The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when Santa Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Singleton might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tor Rosenlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidro Singleton ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Santa Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Cortez to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Maximino Pietro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Maradona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cascade Park West's Tyrell Springer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Pietro in the 20th minute of play. Isidro Singleton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tor Rosenlund firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Waldo Renteria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cascade Park West's Timmy Vigil got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Santana in the 31st minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Tyrell Springer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyrell Springer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Pietro in the 32nd minute of the match. Isidro Singleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tor Rosenlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Isidro Singleton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tor Rosenlund, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldo Renteria made a kick off. If Isidro Singleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Santa Maradona defense, Waldo Renteria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tor Rosenlund. The Santa Maradona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tor Rosenlund should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldo Renteria in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Rosenlund saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. Cascade Park West's Tyrell Springer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Pietro in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Tyrell Springer got control of the ball when Luis Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Maximino Pietro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tyrell Springer. The goal made the score 2-2. Tor Rosenlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Singleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Maradona's goalie prevented a goal. When Waldo Renteria came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cascade Park West fans jumped to their feet. Isidro Singleton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor Rosenlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
