Petros Vasdekis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Tinu in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Tsevas in the 21st minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodor Capătă was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 47th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Capătă to maneuver through the defense.

51 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s Traian Uzuneanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petros Vasdekis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Vakoufi Utd booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Cipău didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Traian Uzuneanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petros Vasdekis. That made the score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Vakoufi Utd's Zinon Papadakos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zinon Papadakos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vakoufi Utd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zinon Papadakos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vakoufi Utd! In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Scorpions -MM-.
