Betão Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Belling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes Sprite Star Football's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dadá Furtado who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Bizard FC's Dadá Furtado to fire away a dangerous shot which Betão Paraíba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 10th minute, Edmílson Mamais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bizard FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cesinha Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Bizard FC booed when Sprite Star Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márcio Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bizard FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Márcio Barbosa hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, Bizard FC's Edmílson Mamais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Paraíba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Jude Belling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquinhos Falcão's late challenge caught a Bizard FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marquinhos Falcão helped the player get up and apologised. Sprite Star Football's Betão Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Mamais in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Bizard FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséas Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. Betão Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Seco in the 54th minute of play. Sprite Star Football's Betão Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Sprite Star Football from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Cesinha Dionísio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bizard FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sprite Star Football the free kick. Cesinha Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. José Augusto Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Ramalho in the 65th minute of play. Jude Belling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Paraíba having to interfere. José Augusto Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monge Mong, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jude Belling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bizard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jude Belling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dadá Furtado hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Oséas Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. José Augusto Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sprite Star Football's Marquinhos Falcão got a free kick in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sprite Star Football's zone, Edmílson Mamais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Paraíba came out of the goal and Edmílson Mamais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Augusto Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monge Mong in the 94th minute of the match.
