AntraX FDP.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Archie Ares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Leonides Ocariz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Austin in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, MOEBIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Ares to maneuver through the defense. If Lucio Burell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Plata who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Ciro Teyo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leonides Ocariz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Fix in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Archie Ares notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of AntraX FDP.'s Leonides Ocariz. Leonides Ocariz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half MOEBIO were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
