The supporters of The Valar booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Barco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iosif Vladimirescu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Concetto Mare. But to his dismay, Concetto Mare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Concetto Mare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iosif Vladimirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Mare in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Davidescu in the 22nd minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Hugo Araya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Zorros del Desierto's Nicolás Tagliani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Ion Otopeanu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Concetto Mare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Araya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Ţeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Iosif Săvescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Valar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorros del Desierto the free kick. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Iosif Săvescu got a free kick in the 45th minute. The The Valar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zorros del Desierto were winning 0-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Cambranes in the 53rd minute of play forced The Valar's goalkeeper Iosif Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concetto Mare might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iosif Vladimirescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Concetto Mare ran back to his position shaking his head. Iordache Donici's late challenge caught a Zorros del Desierto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iordache Donici helped the player get up and apologised. Iordache Donici kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The corner ended in Noé Saso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Valar's Iosif Vladimirescu did a great save.
