ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Silvério Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting a goal against them. Sidney Joannes might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvério Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidney Joannes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute, Sidney Joannes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvério Andrade. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 11th minute, Sandu Stănciulaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Sandu Stănciulaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sandu Stănciulaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clem Fath breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Cosa nostra Lyon's Sidney Joannes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvério Andrade. Silvério Andrade yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Clem Fath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Stănciulaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Aron Zgrăbunţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clem Fath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Udrişte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clem Fath having to interfere. Silvério Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Joannes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Joannes got free with Silvério Andrade in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bogdan Udrişte to strike the kick off in the second half. Sidney Joannes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Andrade having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Stănciulaş came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Eric Ţirpescu in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cosa nostra Lyon's Cyril Reynal. Aron Zgrăbunţa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Hercule Frison got a free kick in the 65th minute. Silvério Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Joannes in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Felix Vărzaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clem Fath made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's Sidney Joannes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvério Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Tim Ménet. In the 87thth minute of the game Bogdan Udrişte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Stănciulaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were awarded a corner. Felix Vărzaru went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Eric Ţirpescu drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Cosa nostra Lyon were victorious despite being under pressure from ASF BAIA MARE -MM- for much of the match.
