The supporters of Pogoń Szczecin booed when Tamboril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Leão in the 26th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Kryspin Banan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Frederico Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamboril's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kryspin Banan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
