The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Siggesson. In the 8th minute Hans-Cees Ricksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Pantiș in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Eintracht Cernavoda were awarded a corner. Viorel Plăcintă went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Viorel Plăcintă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ted Stroobos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 16th minute, Filip Pantiș made a precise shot to the right of Ted Stroobos. Albertus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Cees Ricksen in the 21st minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Eustacio Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eintracht Cernavoda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joakim Siggesson was slow to take the kick. During this time Albertus FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Albertus FC's Joakim Siggesson to fire away a dangerous shot which Eustacio Sotero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Filip Pantiș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Blăniță in the 27th minute of the match. Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Pantiș in the 29th minute of play. Ted Stroobos came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Eintracht Cernavoda's Filip Pantiș. But to his dismay, Filip Pantiș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ted Stroobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Pantiș in the 34th minute of play. Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Pantiș in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Albertus FC's Rolf Korevaar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Albertus FC's zone, Filip Pantiș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ted Stroobos came out of the goal and Filip Pantiș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Eintracht Cernavoda were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 played minutes Eintracht Cernavoda got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Blăniță. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Cernavoda's Horea Bârza got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Cees Ricksen came free, but Eustacio Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Eintracht Cernavoda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Pantiș to maneuver through the defense. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Codrin Izbașa replaced Viorel Plăcintă. Filip Pantiș kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Eintracht Cernavoda's Filip Pantiș was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Eintracht Cernavoda's Codrin Izbașa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Stroobos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Cernavoda's Sorin Pipirig got a free kick in the 68th minute. Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Cees Ricksen in the 71st minute of play. Eustacio Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Cees Ricksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Hans-Cees Ricksen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Eintracht Cernavoda booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karel Veenker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Gigel Tănăsocă replaced Grigore Blăniță. Ted Stroobos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Eintracht Cernavoda's Filip Pantiș shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 85th minute, Hans-Cees Ricksen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
