Litoral EC - CIMZ's attentive Hortêncio da Silveira managed to snatch the ball when Julian Possner made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Leopold Nymann got a free kick in the 11th minute. Nicola Büchel was a little too slow when Fernandinho Maranhense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, one of ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Litoral EC - CIMZ. Carlos Augusto Paiva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicola Büchel. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Fernandinho Maranhense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicola Büchel was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Carlos Augusto Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Tales Leite got a free kick in the 39th minute. Rüdiger Vetsch hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksandar Haltinner made a kick off. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Agostinho Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandar Haltinner in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Agostinho Santana got control of the ball when Franz-Josef Jauch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Luís Fernando Antunes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Julian Possner in the 67 minute of the game. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Agostinho Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz-Josef Jauch in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Maranhense in the 74th minute of play forced ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Nicola Büchel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Fernandinho Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicola Büchel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Arce in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Fernandinho Maranhense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Nicola Büchel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Agostinho Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz-Josef Jauch in the 87th minute of play. Many of ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ may have spent more time on the ball, but Litoral EC - CIMZ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
